EFT Tapping Points

[captionpix width=”200″ imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/aamet-site-200×199.jpg” imglink=”http://www.aamet.org” captiontext=”AAMET International Accredited Training In EFT”]

EFT Tapping is a technique that is really catching on and is a quicker way than anything else I’ve come across when it comes to reducing anxiety, panic and stress on-the-spot. And I’m someone who looked long and hard!

I was out and about in Canterbury in a department store, checking out the shoes as you do, and about to leave the floor searching for the best exit via an escalator.

As I turned the corner there was an elderly lady who’d fallen and was huddled on the ground. A cluster of well-wishers had gathered offering kind words of support, but ultimately she was out shopping on her own. She’d inadvertently been trying to go up the steps of the escalator that was coming down towards her.

An easy mistake!

But she had had a shock and was in a bit of a fluster, so I stepped up and asked if I could ‘tap’ on her, while explaining this little technique that ‘calms the nervous system’. A range of store staff arrived in dribs’n’drabs and I just found myself explaining what I was doing at the same time as tapping on her all-the-while.

Finally a manager stepped up and said he’d heard of this the technique, by this time she was calmed and ready to move off and leave the store. I accompanied her to the bus station and she was absolutely fine.

But when you think about it, she was elderly and walking with the aid of two sticks. So having a quick-action technique like this to hand is something we could all do with having up-our-sleeve in order to release the shakiness of a sudden trauma, no matter what.

In Preparation For EFT Tapping

With that lady I just tapped on the points I’ve written out below (5-7 times on each point). With clients we go into a lot more depth and dig into what lays beneath and this technique is great at getting to the heart of the matter and working quickly.

And if want to participate in a ’round’ of EFT (the Emotional Freedom Technique) then it’s handy to have a diagram of the Tapping Points to refer to.

There are meridian points found all over the body, as used in Acupuncture, but for this process we only use those found on the face, head, upper-body and hands. And this helps get you started right away.

The Tapping Points

[captionpix align=”right” imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Tapping-Points-Photo.jpg” captiontext=”The Tapping Points”]

Here are the points:

  • The side of the hand is referred to as the Karate Chop Point
  • EB = Eyebrow (on the bone)
  • SE = Side of the eye – other end of the eyebrow (on the bone)
  • UE = Under the eye (on the bone)
  • UN = Under the nose (in the ski-slope)
  • UM = Under the mouth (in the crevice)
  • CB = Collar bone (1 inch down from the clavical bone and 1 inch in towards the shoulder)
  • UA = Under the arm
  • TH = Top of the head (towards but not on the crown)

The finger points (not illustrated) are found at the base of the nail on the flesh side of each digit and there is a 9-gamut point which is explained inside my EFT Tapping Guide if you’d like to sign up for the newsletter below or to the right hand side, and receive more information.

And what we’ve covered here will suffice for the duration of a demonstration.

What Else Do I Need

Having paper and a pen handy to make a note of anything you want to write down so you know what you’re addressing and how you feel about it at the start of working on it. Just as an aside EFT can be quick (and if that doesn’t happen during a quick demo that’s okay too, it doesn’t mean you’re not doing it right, it just indicates that there was probably something more relevant to work on first.

It’s often best when starting out to learn it with an experienced practitioner, who’ll help you get out of your own way. And that way you get into your rhythm, it’s like anything the more you do it the better you get at using it effectively.

The types of wording and the full procedure are found in a fuller report than there’s space for here, but the above gives you a springboard to leap off from and ‘play’ with it.

What To Do Next

If you’d like to request a demonstration for a company or group, if you’d like a chat to explore in more detail just fill out the contact form here.

Or please sign up for the EFT Tapping Guide to get better at carrying out the technique in more detail, and find out through the newsletter what is really going on when it comes to getting free of health symptoms and learning how they came about in the first place, because disease is not a random mistake.

Learning what your symptoms are conveying through the brain / mind / body connection is one of the most powerful things you can discover. It’s revolutionised how I work with clients and how quickly they can get free of physical, mental, emotional and behavioural problems.

NES Health Learning

[captionpix imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/video-cover.png” imglink=”http://www.neshealth.com/home.aspx” captiontext=”Click To Play Video About NES Health”]

I just came back from training with NES Health, in the midlands, and the learning was astonishing. The trainer Dr Rainer Viehweger, who trained as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in allopathic medicine and now treats his patients with the NES system, where he integrates other complimentary modalities, as and when. Rainer is a great teacher, very knowledgeable with the gift of a great teacher in how he conveys it all in simple terms. He has written a book about Global Scaling, which we’ll look at another time.

Playing the video (to the left) about NES Health, tells a little of how it works with a smattering on how it came about and what the co-founders, Peter Fraser and Harry Massey were aiming to achieve when they each began their own very separate and unique journeys into developing this technology.

NES ProVision

[captionpix width=”200″ align=”right” imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/provision-software.png” imglink=”http://www.neshealth.com/home.aspx” captiontext=”The NES ProVision Body Scan”]

The ProVision is a refined computerized software that uses an enlarged mouse (with two electrodes) where you place your hand over it while it scans your body. The subsequent reading gives you everything you need to know at the time to treat whatever it is you want to address. This is segmented into a range of categories which address different aspects:

  • The miHealth which is applied immediately to clear any priority areas that show up, i.e. a sluggish circulation
  • HBF (Human Body Field) indicates which colloidal minerals will assist, over the following month, with an ongoing realignment treatment
  • The ‘Mind’ setting indicates what lies at the heart the current disruption
  • A set of nutritional indicators of what to boost the internal environment with

So what are each of these technologies bringing and how do they work?

NES miHealth

[captionpix width=”250″ imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/handheld-mihealth-1.png” imglink=”http://www.neshealth.com/home.aspx” captiontext=”The handheld NES miHealth machine”]

This is a handheld machine, that I’ve used since November 2011, because it makes a great difference in how I’m able to help speed up the process with clients this way. Initially I tied it in with Richard Flook’s META-Healing Process, which has now turned into ACE (Accelerated Clearing Energetics) which integrates beautifully. I’m now able to use the whole system along with ACE and EFT & Matrix, which are used in tandem to really move things through for clients.

NES Infoceuticals

[captionpix width=”150″ align=”right” imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/infoceuticals.png” imglink=”http://www.neshealth.com/home.aspx” captiontext=”The handheld NES miHealth machine”]

The infoceuticals help the body open up to the process of making deep change to a body that needs that deeper help, which all our bodies do, wherever chronic symptoms come and go, or just stay. So the minerals aren’t a supplement as such, they are performing the task of healing the body at a cellular level.

NES Mind

The ‘mind’ function ties in with META-Health by indicating what sort of event, or emotional disruption created the symptoms in the first place, not in a diagnostic manner. As I’m already a master practitioner and introductory trainer in META-Health it’s an easy read as I’m aware of what each of the indicators mean in this deeper sense.

NES Trition

This gives a month-long recommendation of nutritional supplements that assists the bio-availability of regular nutrients etc. This part of their research is deepening as NES wishes to help explore this with nutritional experts and as we know nutrition has changed in many ways, in how it might now treat serious disease. I look forward to their adding to this and am not currently recommending that aspect of the programme unless people specifically want it.

So this has been a quick summary and I’ve hardly touched the training itself. Suffice to say, I met some wonderful fellow practitioners and Rainer has such a deep knowledge of the physical body, in particular in how he reads the the recommendations, and a pleasure to learn with.

FREE Body Scan

I’m looking forward to learning more and I currently offer a free body-scan so you can see how it works in order to address whatever it is that holds you back from being the best version of you. Being the best version of yourself -and We Are All A Work In Progress – enables you to access the best quality of life you could possibly achieve. It’s only just begun!

EFT And It’s Efficacy

by Jane Leave a Comment

[captionpix imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/tapping-points-lady.png” captiontext=”Tapping On The Body Meridian Points”]

A new report published in December 2012 talks about the benefits of using a certain type of Energy Psychology using a system of tapping round certain points in the body and how it is helping those with mental health issues.

It is of course referring to EFT (and TFT) Tapping, and it’s use as a clinical and self-help modality that combines verbal and physical procedures to make therapeutic change.

Integrating Methodologies

It’s becoming more apparent that growing time restraints, growing numbers needing help with mental health issues and mounting stress that room can be made for newer techniques that are showing themselves to be super efficient at clearing past trauma (and in some cases not so much trauma in the traditional sense) but also super-sensitivity to situations and people.

I was invited to train a closed group of counselors, teachers and therapists as part of their CPD last year and they really like how quickly they were able to get to an event, uncomfortable feeling, that created the disharmony they worked on.

The pitfall for them was that as they all specialised in working with children, and their particular organisation (who I won’t name) haven’t yet recognised the Energy Psychology’s for general use within their practitioner practices.

The Importance Of The Research

Which gives this type of research paramount importance, so we can get these efficient, effective and non-invasive techniques integrated into the services psychotherapists already offer – in order to help clients – as quickly as possible.

We want to see this up and running as soon as we possible in order to help more people feel better, faster, and as the pace of life gets busier, it’s becoming essential for the mainstream services to open up to these new understandings.

And the more those traditional fields become receptive the more research will be commissioned, which those of us using EFT, TFT and other Meridian therapies would welcome it.

Experiencing the way these tools shift the energy, is evidence in itself, but it needs qualifying with reports like this one that help the mainstream take it seriously and integrate it into their own practices, as healthcare professional, psychotherapists, counsellors and teachers.

I for one welcome it with open-arms and look forward to masses more research, because we know there is good-clean science behind what is going on in the meridian energy system and it wouldn’t be a far cry for those who already deal in scientific terminology to reach across and evaluate for themselves.

As mentioned experiencing it is key and that leaves no uncertainly when you can be someone who has been troubled by something going on in your life, and within a relatively short span of time, have a completely new perspective, and emotional response to what may have been plaguing you for decades in some cases.

That has got to be work further investigation hasn’t it? And of course it is, but let’s have more.

What Difference Does Tapping On The Meridians Make?

This isn’t just good for food cravings and phobias, it helps with deep-rooted anxiety, depression, pain, incredibly painful past trauma’s, hopelessness, helplessness, having no real sense of identification or purpose.

This brings people back into alignment and some people have NEVER felt that, they almost don’t feel they’re worth it nor dream they could ‘fit-in’. Of course life is not about fitting-in with others but more about feeling good enough about yourself so you are fully integrated into being your self, which is what makes it much easier to fit in.

And the confidence that exudes from feeling integrated with yourself is what leads to being so with others, and is what makes a significant difference to how you act with others, and once you find your authentic self it means you’re the same whether with others or when no-one else is around.

If you want to see if this can help you with something you’ve not worked your way out of, albeit physical symptoms, mood swings, behaviours and compulsions, that alienate you in some way from yourself and others then please call me to explore, just send a contact by clicking here.

Appendicitis

by Jane Leave a Comment

[captionpix imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/appendicitis1.jpg” imglink=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/merck” imgalt=”Appendicitis” captiontext=”The Location Of The Appendix”]

Appendicitis is often perceived as a childhood condition and I remember as a child where the adults implied it was a condition you wanted to get through as a child rather than later. That said I don’t know anyone in my family who ever had appendicitis.

Appendicitis Pain

According to the Merck Manual the appendix is a small finger-shape projecting from the large intestine near the point where it joins the small intestine.

The appendix may have some immune function but it is not an essential organ.

Except for trapped hernias, appendicitis is the most common cause of sudden, severe abdominal pain and abdominal surgery in the Untied States. Appendicitis is most likely to occur between the ages of 10 and 30.

Ruptured Appendix

If it goes undetected it can rupture and lead to peritonitis which can lead to a life-threatening infection. In a woman this can affect the ovaries and fallopian tubes and lead to infertility. A rupture can also lead to another serious condition called sepsis, where the bloodstream is infected with bacteria.

Appendicitis Symptoms

Less than 50% of people with appendicitis have the traditionally described symptoms of nausea, vomiting and severe pain in the lower right abdomen, therefore it can be challenging to detect and is how it goes undiagnosed until it becomes an emergency. In children the pain can be more widespread. In pregnant women and the elderly the pain is usually less severe and the area less tender.

Signs Of Appendicitis

Pain may begin suddenly in the upper abdomen or around the navel, then nausea and vomiting develop. After a few hours, the nausea passes, and the pain shifts to the right lower portion of the abdomen. When a doctor presses on the area, it is tender, and when the pressure is released the pain may increase sharply (rebound tenderness). A fever of 100 to 101 degrees F (37.7-38.3 degrees C) is common. Worsening infection can lead to shock.

What Causes Appendicitis

The cause of appendicitis is not fully understood. In most cases it is believed that a blockage inside the appendix probably starts a process in which the appendix becomes inflamed and infected.

Appendicitis Diagnosis

A doctor may suspect the condition after examination and a blood test will show an increase in the white blood cell count in accordance with the infection.

However, the usual tests such as x-rays, ultrasound scanning, or a computerized tomography (CT scan) will not help. The usual procedure takes the route of immediate exploratory surgery.

The Two Phases Of Disease

Let’s have a look at the Two Phases Of Disease and what META-Medicine has to say about it.

The appendix is a twisted, coiled tube that is suspended from the cecum. For a horse the appendix acts as a second stomach and stores fodder to get them through the night.

The Conflict

When it comes to a human problems with appendicitis, the condition has three likely conflicts (stage 2) that could have created the disease:

  1. It acts similarly (to the horse) in that the emotional conflict that created it is to do with saving something for later. For example with children it could be to do with saving sweets or pocket-money for later.
  2. Problems with the appendix can also relate to something ‘terrible’ that couldn’t be digested and can’t be eliminated like a dead-end situation.
  3. Or it could be to do with storing something-up-your-sleeve (for later) such as revenge that you can’t let go of.

The corresponding embryological organ (in the brain) is the Endoderm (Brain Stem).

Of course Appendicitis requires surgical intervention, but the originating conflict needs addressing in order to prevent it developing into other chronic symptoms and conditions.

META-Medicine Example

A child is at school and the teacher humiliates them in front of the whole class for something they didn’t actually do, but they’ve been taught not to argue back, so the get’s wrongly punished. Then they start with the symptoms (in first phase for digestive problems) and it was the second conflict, that something terrible happened where she felt compromised into a dead-end situation and the symptoms would start approximately 2-5 hours later.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

by Jane 1 Comment

[captionpix imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/jon-richardson-ocd.jpg” captiontext=”Comedian Jon Richardson”]

I was really interested to watch Jon Richardson (Twitter handle @ronjichardson) … 🙂 … on Channel-4 last night, because it featured him tracking meeting with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) sufferers (and family members) in a quest to compare his ‘quirky’ behaviours with those already diagnosed, in order to determine whether he too has the condition, that culminates in his seeing a top UK Specialist for an assessment of his own.

His comedy often refers to his minor obsessions with tidiness and order, and funnily the documentary saw him following up with previous housemates when at Bristol University, among which was ‘Russell’ but not of the Brand or Kane variety but the other one, is it just me that doesn’t see his funny side?

What Is OCD?

Here is a definition from Wikipedia:

Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by intrusive thoughts that produce uneasiness, apprehension, fear, or worry, by repetitive behaviors aimed at reducing the associated anxiety, or by a combination of such obsessions and compulsions.

That reference goes on to say that between a third and a half of all adults suffering with OCD claim it began during their childhood. No surprise there then!

The Cases

Four examples were trotted out in ascending order of severity and Richardson was dutifully respectful to each and every one. He understands!

The final case of a mum with OCD, had worked out that she ‘inherited’ it from her father, and passed it on to her son, who died while taking his PhD. Her son’s condition worsened to the point of being incapable of making contact with furniture (for fear of contamination) which included the settee and the bed. It was sad to see the cause of death shown on the certificate was OCD. She said he had taken to pacing all night and day, which led to the irrational decision of taking of killing himself.

Hoarding is another symptom that occurs in some, and there was a Channel-4 documentary featured earlier this year where the man is being revisited later this week in a programme that will endeavour to help him clear the wall high stack of newspapers and other junk he has accrued, he is an extreme case having to slither through slits of available door space, that makes his indoors look more like a caving expedition. Still it managed to contain a film-crew! I do hope they aren’t too brutal with him when it comes to tearing down his obsession, because he will definitely need some emotional support.

META-Medicine And OCD

Let’s look at what the META-Medicine model tells us about the condition shall we? Firstly, you need to get on board with the concept that all disease and behaviours are created and driven by a pattern of learning. And this occurs at a point of high-stress, which can be caused by something as simple as being humiliated in front of whole class when you were 7 by a teacher (who knew no better), to something very traumatic, like the death of a spouse and worse.

Here’s a reminder of what the model is about, and the two phases of disease.

When the mum said she inherited it from her father, and wishes she’d never been born rather than pass it onto her son, our understanding now is that it’s not a genetic condition as such, yet can certainly be learned and stored in the cellular memory. What’s the difference you might ask?

It’s this, Dr Bruce Lipton tells us in his book The Biology Of Belief that ‘it’s the environment stupid’, his words, he can be over-excitable but he’s just so darned happy to share the information which drives his passion.

What it means it that we learn by observing all the older influences that infiltrate our very young lives, and store them as behavioural pattens in the subconscious, just as Jon probably picked up his condition from his mum and her anxieties as a young mum, revealed during the programme.

META-Medicine identifies two Cerebral Cortex (what we call) ‘conflicts’ or upsets, which are both stored on the left side of the brain. One is ‘territory-fear’ with an autism link through the laryngeals, possibly connected to motor-speech. The other ‘conflict’ is ‘territory-loss’ associated a mild-aggressive link through the coronary veins, cervix or seminal vesicle, which could have a heart or sexual connection. More information would be sought to understand the connection for the individual.

Mental Health

The good news is that this and any other mental health problem is reversible. Great news right, and hold me back here, but no pharmaceutical drugs are required, how cool is that? And this means people don’t have to live in the hazy-fog of a drug regime, but can instead work on learning the insights that help to clear this entirely from their energy system. We carry everything energetically and getting free of our ‘stuff’ quickly and easily is one of the best discoveries in recent neurological history especially the information that Ryke Geerd Hamer mapped. And this is what the META-Medicine model is based on.

The upshot is that OCD has a set pattern that sits in the brain’s cerebral cortex and META-Medicine knows which conflicts to go for.

As a META-Medicine Health Coach I help people with this and other conditions, where every condition has a different pattern.

If you’d like to know more, drop me a line here, phone or email, you can have a free chat to explore in more detail.

Would love to hear your questions, comments or thoughts on this, if you want to test yourself here’s the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale referred to in Wikipedia’s page, and likely to be the test we saw Jon taking.

The outcome for Jon is a brighter one, he doesn’t have the Disorder part of the condition, therefore he has control over it and can keep it contained. And as much as that was good news for him, the programme had an effect on his wellbeing from seeing the challenges others undergo, on a daily basis.

Getting Symptom-Free

If you are interested in treating yours in another way to those shown on the documentary, the information you’ll learn here allows you to become symptom-free. A bold claim but nevertheless all that’s required is to get onboard with yourself and decide you want a different outcome, and as the quantum sciences are already showing us now we’re fully immersed in the 21st Century, is that most conditions are reversible, even ancestral patterns.

If you’d like to know more, become free of your condition, just contact us here, phone or email here.

It starts with a free consultation!

EFT Tapping On Animals

by Jane Leave a Comment

[captionpix imgsrc=”https://www.abcsimpleas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/dog-for-tapping-cropped.jpg” captiontext=”Meridian Points On A Dog”]

I received an email from Shirley who attended an EFT Level 1 Training with me last weekend (that link shows a handy-dandy quick (90 sec) video testimonial from another participant, Evelyn, on how she found using EFT).

I’d mentioned to the group that EFT Tapping On Animals is another use, and an impartial way of measuring the beneficial effects of EFT because animals either improve or they don’t.

Diane is bowled over by EFT and how quickly it worked for her and the other students, and was wondering how to tap on her somewhat boisterous dog.

Although I’ve heard about EFT for animals and had done a little on a cat I took care of for a short while, I hadn’t really looked into the specifics.

Sylvia Hartmann

I decided to Google it and the first site I came upon was Sylvia Hartmann’s which was a very happy coincidence.

I was presenting at the same event as Sylvia a couple of weekends ago, I had no preconceptions and she turned out to be one of my favourite speakers. She is such a delight; eccentric, charming, funny, and had the whole room in the palm of her hand as we laughed and tapped along with her.

Dr Sylvia Hartmann is the Founder of AMT The Association Of Meridian And Energy Therapies.

EFT For Dogs

Afterwards I asked Sylvia what she had done before she came across EFT (she was one of it’s very early adopters)? She said she was a dog behavioural researcher and she’d been working on a project to determine if there was a ‘rage gene’ present in the German Shepherd Alsatian breed.

But she had a realization that the one thing missing from her many books and papers was the concept of LOVE and it’s impact. Her lightbulb moment!

Diane’s question together with finding Sylvia’s site on my first search, seemed synchronistic and writing it up too good an opportunity to miss.

Sylvia now researches EFT and is a prolific writer … this is her latest book on Energy EFT.

EFT Tapping On Animals

So EFT for dogs, cats, horses and whatever else you have in your menagerie is a wonderful way to use these techniques on them, in order for them to develop a calmer, steadier centre in their lives, while integrating better into your family.

I suggest you go over to Sylvia’s site to check out the wonderful diagram and instructions she has on there, apply and adapt them for your other animals too.

And Check out Sylvia’s information for tapping on dogs .

I’d love to hear how you get on … and I’ll be reporting back here on how Diane who started this gets on with her pet.
