EFT (Emotional Field Therapy) is the energy system that Gary Craig devised after he attended a TFT (Thought Field Therapy) course with Roger Callahan.
EFT is a less complex version of TFT and both are based on a simplification of the Chinese Medicine system of energy meridians at the base of Acupuncture. Although they work quite similarly, the application is rather different. EFT is very adaptable during the process, ensuring an immediate and sensitive response to a clients needs, which subsequently cuts down on the number of client sessions required.
Needle-free, these newer techniques rely on tapping the same areas of the body, thus unblocking the bodies energy system which brings about the required change.
EFT is particularly suitable for addictions; anxiety; confidence; phobias and trauma. The standards are monitored by AAMET under whom I’ve trained and become a registered advanced practitioner, and trainer.
Use Whenever You Feel The Need
Although these techniques are easy enough, initially it is best to learn them from a trained therapist in order to become familiar with what they can do for you. Subsequently, especially if you’ve been guided through a course of treatment with them, you’ll find you can apply it in all areas of your life, whenever you feel stuck, and need them. And thus they are a great life tool to equip yourself and your family with.
